Janet Jackson’s shoot for Call On Me the first single from her album 20 years old took place Inside a hangar at California’s Santa Monica Airport from June 28 to July 1. Watch for the video to debut on BET JUly 26.
The Theme A blend of live action and animation the video is inspired by the children’s classic Aesop’s Fables. “It’s alot of fun and whmsical,” says Jackson.
The Wardrobe “Janet likes mash looks from different cultures together, ” her stylist, Kim Bowen tells Us of the over-the-top mix of Asian, African and Indian styles.
The On Set Drama On the final day of shooting, the power went out! Says Bowen. “Janet and I kept crashing into each other at her trailer. Luckily, she has the best sense of humor.”

Did anyone notice after the Ex husband who ghost wrote left the music became bland and sad. Velvet Rope was a masterpiece but its all pretty much been sampled crap since then. She doesnt even try to sing, maybe her nose jobs made her voice even smaller
