Nelly Furtado also performed at the World Music Awards. Congrats to Nelly for taking home a golden award.

tanya… if you took the time to actually *listen* to the way the lyrics, vocals, vibes, harmonies and instruments are put together on bday [and have some sense of musicology], you would like beyonces new songs too. its very creative but it works. and the songs become addictive bc theres nothin on the radio that sounds like it.
besides that, everyone sings love songs. it can get boring. just my opinion =]

I must agree that her album is good music-wise,but the lyrics are not up to par with the music,but people today tend to gravity toward upbeat,catchy,dumb lyrics,and nothing that speaks.
By the way if you have some sense of musicology, then you would know that all music is the same in theory. Its you personal taste and ear that breaks music down in to want you like and don’t like.
