So I gather that she is re-releasing this CD and then releasing a spanish version of it also? I don’t care for the song but I would like to hear her other new tracks. Why hasn’t Kelly Rowland gone ahead and released her CD?

I say this about Beyonce, she has managed to have a huge entertainment career and keep her private business out of the spotlight. It can’t be easy with the paparazzi and tabloid reporting being the way it is today.

  8. February 20th, 2007 | 1:56 pm

Tracklistings look ok, love www song its so good. Shame about the cover couldnt she have done a new photoshoot.

    February 20th, 2007 | 2:16 pm

Desperate attempt to gain even more respect from over seas fans…It’s all about the business, the song sounds very Ciaraish it’s ok…I’ve heard Beautiful Liar can’t wait to hear it ft. Shakira and all the other spanish stuff although I think it’s pretty pointless and she’s just trynna expand her audience and get J.Lo’s fans…I mean isn’t it a coincidence how this new spanish material is coming out at the same time as J.Lo’s new spanish album…C’mon girl you ain’t even latina what the hell is this about?!

    February 20th, 2007 | 2:47 pm

    Rudy,

Watch out because some idiot is going to come on here and curse you out using obscene profanity and horrible grammar. They will also accuse you of being jealous and state that Beyonce is beautiful (and has a lot of money). Its the same old routine!!!

  11. Anthony
    February 20th, 2007 | 2:53 pm

Rudy! I admire your high reliable critics but i must note that beyonce decided to take out the album way before JLo.
Im black and latin …and as part of the latin communtity also i must say that people hate the new song from JLO ….Christina and Jlo have latin roots but, they arent latin …dont even know spanish …NO SABEN ESPANOL!!!!!!

Chirstina says she s latin …but hates the man that made her latin HER FATHER!!!!!!!
Those are good example of trying to expand horizons to get money ….

    Anthony,

Christina’s lack of a relationship with her father has nothing do with him being from Ecuador. Its because of his abusive history. That does not take away from her origin. Thats absurb. Paulina Rubio , Shakira, Marc Anthony, Ricky Martin, and Thallia have done an English-speaking music. I don’t see what the big deal is with Beyonce and Christina doing music in the spanish language.

    February 20th, 2007 | 3:46 pm

So… where are the spanish versions of Deja vu, ring the alarm and irreplaceable ?? In the past months i think i listened to snippets.. I’ll be disappointed if they didnt include them.

  14. nisi
    February 20th, 2007 | 5:48 pm

Christina doesn’t hate her father. He abused her and her mother when she was little so ofcourse she’s gonna have issues with him but she never said she hated him. Don’t put words in her mouth.

How are you gonna say someone has latin roots but they aren’t latin? I’m Mexican-American and I don’t speak Spanish fluently. So does that make me white?

I think all Rudy was saying was that it is usually customary for an artist to have some sort of latin origin to allow them to ease into that kind of market. It’s like Christina or Shakira singing in French just cause. I just seems to come out of nowhere.

  15. February 20th, 2007 | 7:24 pm

ummmmm…….spanish language is 1 below english…..so i belive beyonce is just trying to reach another audience….just like shakira did with english and many other spanish speakin artist….why should it be an issue weather or not beyonce wants to sing in spanish…..many people have done it…..spanish is not a restricted language to the english speaking person……TO ME IT SHOWS HOW MUCH TALENT SHE HAS……get over it

Music World/Columbia Records will release Beyonce’s B’Day - Deluxe Edition, an expanded two-CD edition of the pop icon’s best-selling Grammy-winning solo album, on Tuesday, April 3. On February 11, 2007, B’Day won the Grammy for Best Contemporary R&B Album, bringing Beyonce’s lifetime Grammy total up to 10 (seven as a solo artist and three won with Destiny’s Child). In addition to the original 12 tracks from Beyonce’s multi-platinum album, Disc One of B’Day - Deluxe Edition premieres three brand-new songs in English: the album’s first single, “Beautiful Liar,” a superstar duet between Beyonce and Shakira, as well as “If” and “Flaws & All.” Disc Two of the expanded B’Day - Deluxe Edition debuts six new Spanish language tracks including “Amor Gitano,” Beyonce’s sensuous flamenco-pop duet with Latin Grammy-winning superstar Alejandro Fernandez. Cowritten by Beyonce with Grammy-winning songwriters/recording artists Reyli Barba and Jaime Flores and produced by Grammy-winning producer Rudy Perez, “Amor Gitano” will be heard as the theme music for “Zorro: La Espada y La Rosa (The Sword and the Rose),” a telenovela (serialized television soap opera) premiering February 12 on Telemundo (check your local listings). Beginning Monday, February 12, the track may be streamed at www.yahootelemundo.com/zorro. Rounding out Disc Two of B’Day - Deluxe Edition are Beyonce’s Spanish language versions of “Listen (Oye)” and “Irreplaceable (Irrempiazable)” as well as three new mixes of “Beautiful Liar.” Also arriving on Tuesday, April 3 is Beyonce’s B’Day Anthology Video Album. Available exclusively at Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the B’Day Anthology Video Album includes Beyonce’s videos for “Kitty Kat (intro)”/”Upgrade U” featuring Jay-Z, “Deja Vu,” “Ring The Alarm,” “Irreplaceable,” “Listen,” “Green Light,” “Suga Mama,” “Get Me Bodied,” “Freakum Dress” and “Beautiful Liar” featuring Shakira. As an added bonus, the video collection features the Spanish-language version of “Irreplaceable” and the Spanglish version of “Beautiful Liar” featuring Shakira.

I’m not a Beyone fan , but I like this song. She should have released this as a single, it would be a great song for the spring season. By the way, Who wrote this song, it sounds very “Ne-yo” to me?

I think its kind of funny how you guys are talking about these people like you guys were childhood best friends with these celebs. If Beyonce wants to sing in spanish SHE CAN SING IN SPANISH! If Xtina wants to sing in SPANISH but can’t speak spanish then SHE can sing in spanish.
