   I got a peep at those videos she shot for the re-release and they look cheap and rushed. I like (even love) the song upgrade u but the video looks like a combination of Tamia (stranger in my house) and any BEP/Fergie video. I am trying to give her music a chance because she had a couple of hot joints in the past. Don’t get me wrong, she is hot and tasty as french toast. I would rather look at her than hear this music.

    lol, please… people were talking about beyonce being overexposed back when she was still with destiny’s child, 3-4 years ago. there are plenty of people who love her and plenty of people who hate her, but “irreplaceable” was #1 for month. i think beyonce will be just fine in 2007.

    I like this video a lot. Usually I don’t get into videos that are cliche and plain like this…but something about this feels different. And I think that Beyonce made it work. Am I the only one that thinks the scene in front of the gold backdrop with the guys in the suits dancing is really cool? I wouldn’t have expected slow/midtempo choreography like this but it is nice. Kinda makes me want to get up and do it with the vid. But overall I’m really feeling this. Anyone know who directed it?

    Where did she find this Melina? I’ve never heard of her… I know that she did Ludacris’ Money Maker video… but that’s it!
    But this video is very nice… loved it!
    I was hoping she would work with Francis Lawrence at least in one of her new videos… but… it’s nice anyway! she’s gonna conquer the world!

    Beyonce is beautiful there’s no denying that. but for as talented as she is this video didn’t do her any justice. for one besides a glimpse of jay z and a couple shots of the dancing w/the dudes this video was boring. all it showed was her just posing and laying all over the place-that’s boring. it was just weak to me. i’m not hatin on the girl she is all that and a bag of doritos but she could’ve did more. irreplaceable was excellent it completely represented the song. there was so much more she could’ve did w/”upgrade you” but whatever…

    I think that the “Upgrade You” video is the worst that I have seen from beyonce. The director of the video, Melanie or Melody (whatever) did a horrible job. Being a visual communication artist, there was too much metalics in this video. I had a hard time comprehending her surroundings. From her being dressed in gold, to gold backgrounds, and gold jewelry, it was too much.
    The dance that was done by beyonce and the people dressed in suits, was off. They should’ve had back up dancers with much better outfits.
    When I listen to “Upgrade You”, I see it as an urban hip hop/ r&b song that has street credit/quality. I think that the video should’ve taken place in different scenes such as a hotel, the street, a big party scene, a corporate office, and such. I really think that the video throws off the song.
    The video is so bad, I don’t even care for the song anymore.
