David Beckham, who is out of playing due to a knee injury, sat in the stands as a guest of honour with wife Victoria Beckham yesterday to watch his former England teammates and Premiership rivals Liverpool players Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher play against his former club in an exhibition match.
