ACM Award Nominees Announced

With several young Nashville starlets in attendance the nominees for the 44th Annual ACM Awards were announced today (February 11).

On hand to announce the nominees were, Jessica Simpson, Kellie Pickler, Julianne Hough and LeAnn Rimes.

Brad Paisley lead the pack with 5 nomination this year, Kenny Chesney followed with 4, Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood were tied at 3. Carrie was however nominated for Entertainer of the Year, which historically hasn’t been a category in which women have faired well. Kenny Chesney is the reigning 3 year champ of the award.

Nominees for Album of the Year won’t be announced until March but here’s a list of all the nominees announced earlier.

The awards will air live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on April April 5. It will be broadcast live on CBS.
