Variety is reporting that Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, who produced Chicago and Hairspray, are taking on another New Line Cinema project- Damn Yankees!
The film will star Jim Carrey as Mr. Applegate (the devil in disguise) and Jake Gyllenhaal as Joe Boyd. The role of Lola has yet to be cast.
I didn’t even know Jim Carrey could sing!
