So here we go with the 3rd and final round of 12 to make it into American Idol’s Top 12.

Von Smith – Von took the stage to perform You’re all I need to get by by Marvin Gaye. I thought Von sounded fine – I wasn’t overly thrilled with his song choice. Do you think all the “Clay-mates” will be out in force for Von?

Taylor Vaifanua – As the first girl of the evening, Taylor took to the stage to sing If I ain’t got you by Alicia Keys. I had to laugh when Simon told Taylor that he really didn’t remember her – I felt the same way. Taylor was okay…hopefully there are better girls still to come!

Alex Wagner Trugman Alex sang I guess that’s why they call it the blues by Elton John – I’m sure if Elton had heard that version he would have smacked Alex with a pair of his 70s sunglasses! It was horrible, sorry Alex!

Arianna AsfarThe Winner Takes it all by Abba Poor Arianna!! What a HORRIBLE song choice! Maybe they’ll bring her back for the wildcard??!!

Ju’Not Joyner with his gorgeous earrings performed his version of the Plain White Tee’s Hey There, Dehlia. I thought it was great! Idol needs a strong male R&B presence!!

Kristen McNamaraKristen sang Give me one reason by Tracy Chapman and sucked it up! I wasn’t a fan of Kristen during Hollywood week and still haven’t been converted! Thanks Kristen…see ya!

Nathaniel Marshall sand I would do anything for love by Meatloaf. It was funny because as I watched it from across my family room, I thought he kind of looks like Olivia Newton-John and then Simon said the same thing. I like Nathaniel, seems like a nice kid that has had a rough life! Good luck Nathaniel!

Felicia Barton who was the last-minute replacement sang No One by Alicia Keys. She did a decent job and probably the strongest girl of the night, so far.

Scott MacIntyresang Mandarin Rain by Bruce Hornsby. I’m not sure what I thought the words were to that song all these years?! Scott did well but I just don’t think he did well enough to make it into the Top 12.

Kendall Beard This one’s for the girls by Martina McBride, one of the better girls tonight. I don’t think she’s anything superb but we’ll see!

Jorge Nunez made us all tear up a little after his performance of Don’t let the sun go down on me by Elton John. Hopefully Jorge makes it thru!! The tone of his voice is amazing!

Lil Rounds by far the best girl of the night sounded amazing singing her version of Be Without you. Lil is great!!

So how do you think everyone did tonight? My votes for tomorrow’s Top 3: Lil, Jorge and Ju’Not. I liked Scott but I don’t think he’ll have enough votes – especially after Jorge cried and spoke Spanish!
