Entertainment Weekly reports that NBC is in talks with DirecTV to extend Friday Night Lights for a two season pickup. If all goes well, Friday Night Lights would be renewed for two seasons!

EW.com reports that another NBC source said “We’re very optimistic a deal will be worked out.”

Friday Night Lights is one the BEST shows on television – hopefully NBC will be able to figure something out.

If you haven’t seen an episode you can check out a new episodes Friday nights at 9PM on NBC.

I agree that FNL is probably the best show on television. It’s obviously the most “real” show. I’ve been continually amazed at what the writers and producers have put out. And I’m excited about the prospects of TWO more seasons.

Also, I’ve recently started a podcast for Friday Night lights. It’s at FNLpodcast.com.

I did the first one this week and would welcome any constructive criticism you could offer. I know it needs a few tweaks. But any input is welcomed! Leave a comment on the blog.
