After Allison Ireheta, Michael Sarver and Alexis Grace wound up in the bottom 3 – it was Alexis Grace who exited the Idol stage.
Alexis performed again, hoping for the judges save but in the end, Simon sent her packing!
Honestly, I was glad that Allison and Michael made it through, so they can be on tour this summer.
What did you think of Alexis leaving this week?

Am I the only one that thinks that Michael Sarver should have gone home? I mean, seriously!!! How on this planet did Micheal muster up more votes than Alexis? I knew that Allison was safe because that girl can REALLY sing but Michael needs a little bit of help in the singing front and even then I still don’t think I could see him as a serious artist. Granted, I don’t think Alexis is the best but she definitely deserves to be on the tour more so than Michael, who I believe is still around because of his story. Sure a roughneck from the Midwest makes for an interesting story, I picture the valiant crew of the fictional movie Armageddon every time I see him, but he’s just not that good of a singer. I figured the grand ol’ opry would be his particular brand of drink but even that he performed to apex of averageness, the middle ground of mediocrity. To say the least I am less than enthused by Michael’s performances so far. Further stoking my Michael ire is the fact that other artists were bumped so that people like Michael and his fellow blue collar workman Matt Breitzke could make the top 36. I’m thinking specifically about the John Legend-esque Jamar Rogers.
