For those that have spent the last 15 years following the staff and patients of County General, Thursday, April 2nd will be filled with MANY tears!
For me personally, I was in High School when this pilot ran. This new hospital drama, starring Goose from Top Gun and George Clooney, fresh off of Rosanne! My how times have changed!!
ER and I have grown together! Graduations, marriages, houses, children – through it all ER has been a constant, every Thursday night! As we’ve said goodbye to Friends, Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and countless other shows, we’ve seen the landscape of television change. When ER came on the air – you couldn’t follow all your favorite Hollywood personalities on Twitter…or read thousands of blogs about the daily happenings of these actors. There wasn’t Survivor or even, American Idol!
ER has evolved and always kept us coming back – yes from time to time we may have strayed but there were always the reruns on TNT to help us find our way back!
So…thank you to the “Staff” of County General – for the countless memories, tears, laughter and enjoyment that ER has given so many over these last 15 seasons.
