The FX series, Rescue Me, has taken a no-holds-barred attitude towards the life of a fireman. The series, staring Denis Leary, follows Tommy Gavin and his life on the 62 Truck.
In case you’ve missed the first 4 seasons, you need to know the following:
Tommy has lost a son, his police officer brother, both his parents and a cousin in 9-11. He and his wife are separated (She has recently given birth to what is believed to be his deceased brother’s child), he’s been sleeping with his cousin’s widow but she is a COMPLETE whack-job and he basically bounces from any piece of *** that he can find to the next!
The boys of the 62 Truck are anything but ordinary! Check out the season premiere tonight on FX. Great cast – great stories – great fireman!!
