Lost starlet Evangeline Lilly doesn’t care about being a superstar. But if she had to do it like anyone, it would be Angeline Jolie.
“No one knows that woman; she’s a complete ice queen, which is perfect,” Lilly shares with Women’s Health. “Why should she be any more? She doesn’t owe us anything.”
Lilly, who says she gets a lot of crap from one of her Lost colleages about how she’s is ignoring her chance to become the next big thing says that she’d only take half of Angelina’s life, the charity part.
“Sure, I’d love to be her, but just the [humanitarian] side,” Lilly says.
Evangeline has always been a private person, and she doesn’t always understand why people care about what is going on in her life. When asked if she and Dominic Monaghan are still together, she replied, “If I were to tell you that Sandra Miggum and Henry Pickett are dating, would you ever care? They’re completely fictional, so you don’t know them. Well, people don’t know us. So why should they care?”
“Right now, I’m happy doing a job that’s not my ultimate dream,” she says. “Even if you’re unhappy, just pretend that you’re happy. Eventually, your smile will be contagious to yourself. I had to learn that – I used to think, ‘I’m being fake,’ but you know what? Better to be fake and happy than real and miserable.”
