So the most controversial moment of the evening did involve Rapper Eminem but not during his performance.
Bruno (Sascha Baren Cohen) flew in and landed in the lap of “Slim Shady”.
Eminem’s security began throwing “Bruno” around and pushed him off of the Hip-Hop star. He was then seen exiting his seat with camera’s following him.

Are you serious… was it fake? That was the most planned stunt I have ever seen. MTV was responsible for the whole thing. Eminem was beyond pissed. Who wouldn’t be, after being 69′d by a man LIVE on national television… now being blasted all over youtube… I doubt that “Bruno” made it out that building without a busted lip. I’m still speechless. I bet anything, Eminem is not doing another thing for MTV ever again.

There was no way that was fake I am a big eminem fan and I know he would not allow that but I do know the people that don’t like him(the butt of his jokes in songs)enjoyed that and probably had something to do with it, I just wanna know how he is gonna respond to this. I can tell by the way he was walking out that he wanted to just turn around and beat the hell out of Bruno but he knows it was live, so it might have been karma for Em but was it worth it for Bruno cuz I don’t think a couple of diss songs is going to do it!

I know that was a set up but not with Em’s ok. MTV knew where everyone would be seated but was it worth it? Em would never forgive a stunt like this if he was put on blast by MTV and I can’t see him ever showing up for anything MTV has to do again! But then again Sacha has a rep for getting people on his own, look at the movie Borat, most of those scenes were real with him setting real unsuspecting people up! The question is not whether it was planned (obviously it was) but who was in on the planning. Certainly Cohen planned it to get publicity for his upcoming Bruno movie, and almost certainly MTV was in on it. But was Eminem in on it? at the time, I was thinking he was part of the joke, but now that I see the internet swarmed with shots of his face and Cohen’s junk, I wonder. It is also possible that Eminem was involved, and will now disavow it after he sees all the pics.
Thank God someone thought the whole humor of the MTV movie awards was ANNOYING!!!! Props to Eminem. After awhile the humor was ridiculous. So un-necessary and turned into a teenie bopper nightmare. It was definately staged, Eminem (tuff or not just sat there, not even moving) Also, MTV panned to Eminem’s face several times even before Bruno landed on him. What great marketing though, “the homophobe with the new album is 69′d by the gay model with a new movie on the way”. Marketing ploy for sure. What’s worse is now we have to hear all of this silly controversy, which is exactly what they wanted, and people really believe it to be real. And for those who think only one party had anything to do with it your wrong, both were a part of this scam. Now with all of this silly hype, we will be forced to watch it on VH1 countdown shows (MTV’s grave yeard) for years to come. MTV is such a joke…

I think the whole point of the joke is just to show that people take things way too seriously. Sasha is always trying to push people and get them angry. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if this wasn’t staged. I bet he meant to land on Eminem, but I bet Em didn’t know. Then again, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if it WAS staged because MTV would do it for ratings and Em would do it to sell songs to try to “revive” his career. I think that’s just nasty! If I were Eminem, I would press sexual assault charges against Sasha and then sue him for every cent. If Eminem were a woman it would have been a horrific sex crime. As a guy Eminem could have kicked this dude’s butt if he wasn’t famous and on tv but then would have been sued by the never funny Sasha for everything he had and had assault charges brought on him. But when a dude shoves his private parts in your face? That’s unacceptable and it’s assault. It’s not a joke. It’s not funny. This guy should be brought to justice.
