Nominees for the 2009 Television Critics Association Awards

The 2009 Television Critics Award nominees have been announced.

FX’s The Shield led the way with 4 Nominations, CBS’s How I Met Your Mother was nominated twice, including a nod for Neil Patrick Harris.

One of the BEST shows on TV, NBCs Friday Night Lights grabbed a nomination for it work! Maybe NBC will wake up and realize what a great show it really is!

The awards will be held August 1st and hosted by E! personality, Chelsea Handler.
