TV’s favorite pitch man, Billy Mays, was found dead this morning (Sunday, June 28) in his Tampa, Florida home.
Billy’s wife, De borah found her husband’s body. According to TMZ.com, Billy had been hit in the head Saturday by some falling luggage while a US Airways flight had a rough landing. Upon landing the plane did blow out a tire.
Police are saying there was no evidence of a break-in and investigators don’t suspect foul play.
The Mays family doesn’t expect to release a statement and has asked for privacy. An autopsy could be completed Monday.
Mays is best known for his oxi-clean commercials. He was just 50 years old.
