
Yankees closer, Mariano Rivera, not only earned his 1st career RBI last night, he also managed to close out his 500th career save!
After completing the 3-game sweep of their cross-town rival, New York Mets, Rivera becomes the 2nd player in Major League Baseball history to hit the historic 500 save mark!
Mariano is 2nd only to Trevor Hoffman, with a career total of 571 saves.
