As part of the Major League Baseball All-Star festivities, the night before the big game is the Home Run Derby. Many baseball fans enjoy the derby more than the actual game!
This year the Derby & All-Star Game will be held in St. Louis at the Cardinals new park. The Senior Circut has announced that 4 first baseman will anchor their side of the Derby, Hometown Hero, Albert Pujols, Prince Fielder, Adrian Gonzalez and Phillies Slugger Ryan Howard should have come big sticks for the American League to battle.
American League participants will be announced soon.
You can check out the Derby on ESPN….unfortunately you’ll be forced to listen to Chris Berman for 4 hours…let’s hope there’s a lot of action!
