Just a few weeks after PGA Favorite, Phil Mickelson’s wife Amy was diagnosed with breast cancer, the family has now taken another blow. Phil’s mom, Mary has now also been diagnosed with Breast cancer.
Tina Mickelson, Phil’s sister, said that Mary will have surgery at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, the same hospital where Amy is being treated.
Tina said of Amy, “She is hanging in there … She still has a long road ahead of her, but at least things are looking like they are heading in the right direction.”
