Nearly 5000 people lined up and filed into the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Nashville today, to pay their respects to former Tennessee Titans Quarterback, Steve McNair.

Fans and friends of the former NFL quarterback were able to attend a visitation from 3:45-6 p.m. CT. Visitation was followed with a memorial service.

3 dozen former teammates gathered to pay their respects to the fallen “Air McNair.” Former Head coach, Jeff Fisher, Friend and running back, Eddie George and Wide Receiver Derek Mason, were just a few who spoke of Steve, their friend and former teammate.

“I think you just start to accept the fact that Steve is no longer here in the physical form,” George said. “And today obviously is to bring closure to us and to celebrate his life with all his accomplishments as a player, as a man in the community, as a teammate, as a friend.”

You can check out a few of the pictures from the Memorial Service here. Photos Courtesy of the IndyStar.com. Eddie George, Samari Rolle, Zach Piller, Kevin Long, Frank Wycheck, Brad Hopkins, Benji Olson, Kevin Carter and Vince Young were all pallbearers.

I know this is tasteless, but I think Steve would laugh at it so==
Check out my take and stick around for more good content.
God bless you Steve and RIP.
