Chicago White Sox Pitcher Mark Buehrle has become just the 17th Pitcher in Major League Baseball history to throw a Perfect Game.
Mark blanked the Tampa Bay Rays in a brief 2 hour and 3 minute game, becoming only tge sixth pitcher to have thrown at least two career no-hitters, including a perfect game.
Shortly after the game ended, Mark received a call from the Most Famous White Sox Fan, President Obama.
“I told him how surprised I was that he actually did it,” Buehrle said. “He said, ‘Congratulations, and it’s an honor. A lot of people are going to remember this forever.’ ”
