Billy Currington and his band experienced a concert last night that they’ll never forget. After performing at the Big Valley Jamboree in Cambrose, Alberta Canada a storm began whipping through the crowd of 15,000 people and tore the stage apart.
Billy’s bassist, Shaun Silver, was pulled from the rubble, with an arm injury. One person was killed and approximately 15 injured. Four of those people are in critical condition, and another four were seriously hurt.
“I was playing slide guitar and I have to look constantly at my hands. All of a sudden, I saw this blast coming at me and I ran off the stage, ” said Doug Collins another member of Billy Currington’s band.
No word yet if the storm was an official tornado. Officials have yet to make an official statement.
