Former University of Kentucky Mens Basketball Coach, Billy Gillispie, has been arrested for Suspicion of DUI.
Around 2:45 this morning, a 911 call came into the Anderson County sheriff’s office, claiming that a White Mercedes with Texas plates, was driving erratically. When Police pulled Billy over, he claimed that he had been golfing.
Billy refused a breathalyzer at the scene, was taken to jail and released on his own recognizance.
The coach has been arrested twice before for Alcohol related incidents, in Oklahoma and Texas.
Billy was back in Kentucky, reportedly working on contract negotations with the University. They had denied Billy the remaining $4 million left on his coaching contract, when they terminated him several months ago.
