Michelle Stafford, AKA Phyllis Newman, is about to become a mom for the 1st time. As a staple of the daytime drama, The Young & The Restless for several years now, the Emmy award winner has announced that with the help of a surrogate, she’s expecting her first child in December.
“After a three-year journey through hell, I’m elated, ecstatic and feel ultimately lucky to be able to announce I’m expecting my own child via surrogate in December,” said Michelle.
Stafford, tried artificial insemination, in vitro fertilization and also looked into adopting after deciding to start a family on her own. Four surgeries and three egg retrievals later, she finally arrived at the surrogate option.
Congrats to Michelle on her the pending birth of her daughter.

I am so upset over ( Victor ) Eric Braden Being dropped from the Yong and The Restless I hope everyone stop watching the dog-gone soap. I had been a loyal fan since 1977 and I think these writers lack much to be desired.
