Actor Patrick Swayze has passed away after a 20 month battle pancreatic with cancer. The actor, who shot to fame after starring roles in ‘Dirty Dancing’ and ‘Ghost’, was first diagnosed back in 2008.
In a recent interview with Barbara Walters, Swayze had said,
“I keep my heart and my soul and my spirit open to miracles.” But Swayze said he was not going to pursue every experimental treatment that came along. If he were to “spend so much time chasing staying alive,” he said, he wouldn’t be able to enjoy the time he had left. “I want to live,” he said.
