Special Needs Teacher Stabbed to Death at John Tyler High School

John Tyler High School went on lockdown for 2 hours earlier today and one student was taken into custody. The student is being linked to a stabbing death of a Special Education teacher.

Todd R. Henry, a 50 year old teacher was attacked inside his classroom around 9am. Henry, was a music therapist at the school for children with Special needs.

Mr. Henry was removed from the school by ambulance but later died. The identity of the student taken into custody hasn’t been released at this time.

Jody Henry, the brother of the victim told The Associated Press that his brother, “accomplished and respected guitarist.”

Our condolences to the family of Todd Henry as well as the entire high school.
