Following the bombshell news yesterday that CBS Late Night host, David Letterman is being extorted to the tune of $2 Million, Dave explained his version of the facts of these stories.
Allegedly, Robert J. Halderman, lived with one of the women with whom Dave had a sexual relationship. According to reports, Halderman placed a package in the back of Letterman’s car, in the hopes that the blackmailing would land him a $2 million check.
Halderman is an Emmy Winning producer and currently works for 48 Hours.
Dave worked in jokes to his 10 minute confession, “I know what you’re saying,” he said. “I’ll be darned, Dave had sex.”
Dave recently wed his girlfriend Regina Lasko of nearly two decades back in March. The couple has a son, Harry, that was born back in 2003.
