Round 49, Ding, Ding.
Rumors are abound this morning after Jon Gosselin has reportedly cleared out the bank account that he shares with estranged wife, Kate Gosselin. Jon withdrew more then $200,000 from the couples joint checking account, leaving a balance of only $1,000. This account has been identified in legal documents that it is the account the family pays bills out of.
Of course, it was just last week when we reported that Jon had filed paperwork requesting that their divorce be postponed for an additional 90 days. Jon also sat down with Larry King and apologized to Kate for his wreckless behavior.
Kate has hired Marty Singer to represent her. Kate’s lawyers will file papers in Pennsylvania on Monday, asking for Jon to be held in contempt of court.
Jon was busy making public appearance this week, he was spotted at Millions of Milkshakes in West Hollywood.
In case you were wondering, the children’s bank account wasn’t touched.
