As Chicago native, Michael David Barrett, arrived at O’Hare International Airport Friday night, he was arrested. Barrett, 48, is the man behind the peephole video of ESPN Reporter, Erin Andrews.
According to the FBI, Barrett, an insurance executive, allegedly traveled to at least two states, learned which hotel rooms Andrews was staying in, altered peepholes to those rooms, and secretly videotaped her nude as she undressed.
Erin released a statement Saturday morning, thanking the FBI and federal prosecutors.”For my part, I will make every effort to strengthen the laws on a State and Federal level to better protect victims of criminal stalking.”
