Well….not sure if the Browns are helping court The King LeBron to stay in Cleveland but the Browns have dealt wide receiver, Braylon Edwards to the New York Jets.
Edwards, who played his collegiate career at the University of Michigan, was involved in an altercation with a friend of the Cleveland Cavs star, LeBron James, over the weekend. LeBron had expressed his discontent with Edwards to the media yesterday before an exhibition basketball game, calling him “childish”.
This morning the fumbling Browns (0-4) dealt Braylon for two players, special teamer Jason Trusnik an wide receiver Chansi Stuckey and undisclosed draft pick to the Jets.
An NFL source close to the team has reported that starting quarterback, Derrek Anderson, was “pleased” with the move to dump Braylon Edwards.
