For college football fans around the country, (Unless you are in Norman, Oklahoma or Columbus, Ohio) today’s announcement of the 1st BCS Standings are breaking news. As expected, SEC powerhouses Florida and Alabama are at the top of the poll with their only shot of knocking each other out of the way, a showdown in the SEC Champiohship game. Texas, Boise State and Cincinnati round out the Top 5.
