Apparently ESPN is the place where marriages go to die! Reports out of Bristol, Connecticut this morning indicate that Marketing VP, Kate Lacey and Programming VP, David Berson have being have a heated affair for the last couple of years.
Berson divorced his wife, Jane Berson, in March but his relationship with Lacey confirmed to the New York Post that she is “in a relationship with a peer.”
ESPN “sources” have said in the past that ESPN does not discourgage inter-office relationships. Of office dating a source said, they are “not really against work relationships because [the headquarters is] so in the middle of nowhere.”
Wow…I’m sure David Berson’s ex-wife loved that office policy. I guess ESPN worries about it’s company culture and keeping employees happy. This affair of course comes on the heels of the crazy affair that had been taking place with ESPN employees, Steve Phillips and Brooke Hundley.
