What gets you more in the Holiday spirit than a Christmas tree lighting?
If you are interested in obtaining tickets to the National Christmas Tree Lighting taking place on the Ellipse, just South of the White House, you are in luck!
The National Park Service and the National Park Foundation will be hosting an online lottery starting Wednesday to obtain free tickets.
Registration for the lottery opens at 12:01 a.m. Eastern time Wednesday and closes at 11:59 p.m. Friday. Applicants can register here. There will be 2,800 seats and 7,000 standing-room spaces available.
The tree lighting is scheduled for December 3rd at 5 pm. Good luck!
