The Bronx Bombers took home their 27th World Series title last night, finishing off the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 6, with a final score of 7-3.

For the “Core Four”, Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada, Andy Pettitte and Mariano Rivera took home their 5th World Series Rings and for Alex Rodriguez, CC Sabathia, Mark Teixeiria it was a sweet victory to clinch their first!

Hideki Matsui was named the series MVP, the first time in the History of baseball that a DH has taken home the honors. The Yankees will celebrate with their famous parade, this Friday, starting at Broadway at Battery Place at 11 AM ET and continue northbound up the Canyon of Heroes to Chamber Street.

Congrats to the 27-time World Series Championships!
