Sammy Sosa, the former Chicago Cub, has been went a hot topic the last couple of days. Sammy recently debuted his much lighter skin color. Reportedly, Sammy has been going through a “skin rejuvenation process” that caused him to have lightened, or white skin.
Sammy and his wife Sonya attended the Latin Grammy Awards, when the photos broke of Sammy’s lighter skin.
“He’s not trying to be Michael Jackson,” former Chicago Cubs employee Rebecca Polihronis, who talks frequently with Sosa, told the Chicago Tribune. “He was surprised he came out looking so white. I thought it was a body double.”
