ABC has confirmed that the star of the breakout hit, Courteney Cox has taken a leave from production of Cougar Town.
“We can confirm production on Cougar Town has been temporarily shut down in order for Courtney to deal with a private family matter”.
Reps for Courtney Cox-Arquette haven’t confirmed what the exact family matter is. Courteney and husband David Arquette are co-producers on the new comedy.
Cougar Town opened with strong ratings but has continued to steadily decline over the last few weeks.
