As no surprise to any of us, New Moon took in over 100 Million dollars at US theatres this weekend. Taking in $258 Million worldwide, the latest installemtn of the Twilight saga kept movie theatres hoping all weekend.
Other new films out, The Blind Side, opened strong with $34.5 million, the largest opening weekend ever for its star, Sandra Bullock. The family film, Planet 51 opened with a disappointing, 12.6 Million.
