Following his wife’s untimely death this morning, Simon Monjack has requested that an official autopsy be performed on Brittany Murphy’s body.
Is Simon trying to cover something up? First reported by TMZ early this morning, Brittany Murphy was found unconscious by her her own mother in the shower. Brittany’s husband dialed 911 and CPR was immediately started. Medics worked on Murphy en route to Cedars-Sinai Hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival.
The LA Coroner will make the ultimate decision as to the autopsy. You can view pictures here of a distraught Simon returning home from the trip to the hospital that took Brittany’s life.
