Freshman phenom, John Wall, is gracing the cover of Sports Illustrated.
University of Kentucky fans, hold your breath….can this cover ruin a 15-0 perfect season. The SI cover will only be available in the Southeast. Supported by first season Kentucky head coach, John Calipari, and other forces liek, Patrick Patterson, Demarcus Cousins and Eric Bledsoe, UK is off to their best start in 40 seasons. Their win over Drexel last week, sealed their itle of supreme college basketball power, being the first team in NCAA history to reach 2000 wins.
While Wall continues to recieve plenty of well-deserved accilades, he’s not totally sure about his future. John recently told the AP, he hasn’t decided whether to enroll in classes or enter the NBA Draft.
“I want to go undefeated,” Wall said. “That’s not going to be an easy thing. That’s going to be tough. I’m not saying we’re going to do it or it’s going to be easy, but that’s a goal that I have.”
If Wall does enter the draft, he will likely be the #1 overall pick.
