The most hated and popular judge on American Idol has confirmed that he will in fact be judging American for the final season.
Simon isn’t leaving the world of reality TV however, he will take his new seat as judge and execuibe producer on The X Factor.
“I was offered a lot of money to stay on,” Cowell said. “But that wasn’t the reason behind it. I wanted to do something different. I wanted a new challenge.”
“You want to leave on a high,” he said. “I’m very proud of what the show has achieved.” Will Idol be able to go on without Simon?
