People magazine has outbid all other US weekly tabloids for $ 4.1 million to land the Angelina Jolie- Brad Pitt baby Shiloh pictures.

All the weekly magazine editors were summoned to the offices of the Getty photo agency at Canal and Varick late Saturday night. “We were sequestered into separate and un-air-conditioned offices,” said one. “The photos were shown to us around 10 p.m. to midnight, and then we had to submit bids by 6 a.m. Sunday morning. No one got any sleep at all, as it was a manic game of phone-tag to top each other’s bids. I’m convinced it was Brangie’s revenge on the weekly magazines.”

Hello mag from the UK also snatched up rights to the photos.

Wow the moment we’ve all been waiting for pictures of Angelina Jolie and Bradd Pitt’s new baby Shiloh. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will give the world its first peek at their newborn daughter by releasing photos of Shiloh Nouvel, with profits going to charity.

The images, taken at a private photo shoot, will be distributed by Getty Images, the photo agency said Monday. All profits will be given to charity, though no specific foundation was announced.

“While we celebrate the joy of the birth of our daughter, we recognize that two million babies born every year in the developing world die on the first day of their lives,” the couple said in a joint statement. “These children can be saved, but only if governments around the world make it priority.”

Deb Trevino, a spokeswoman for Getty Images, told The Associated Press the family would later name the charity that will receive the funds. She would not disclose how much the photos were being sold for, or when they would be distributed.

Actress Angelina Jolie has reserved  various domain names of her daughter Shiloh Nouvel’s name. More than 24 domains have been reserved.

Internet registration files show the Web addresses “shilohjolie,” “shilohpitt,” “shilohjoliepitt,” “shilohnouveljolie,” “shilohnouvelpitt” and “shilohnouveljoliepitt” — with the extensions “.com,” “.org,” “.net” and “.info” — were reserved as of May 27, the baby’s birthday.

Jolie has control of the Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), the Web addresses, for one year. Her Los Angeles-based lawyer, Evan Spiegel, did not immediately return calls for comment.

Jolie and Shiloh’s father, actor Brad Pitt, appeared to have learned from the misfortunes of fellow stars Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, whose daughter’s name, Suri, was co-opted by someone else who registered the URL “suricruise.com.”

The site, part of which was inaccessible on Friday, features a countdown to Suri’s 18th birthday ” when she will “become of age” ” and asks Web surfers to share drawings of what they think she will look like.

According to Life & Style magazine, Jennifer Aniston got the news late on Saturday, right after Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, who could get Namibian citizenship, was born at Welwitschia Clinic in Walvis Bay and at first she was really surprised because she had heard it was going to be a boy.

For this move Vince was there to advice Jennifer and together decided to call Brad Pitts manager and give congratulations from them both. Of course as we all, Jennifer is curious to see what the celebrity baby looks like.
