Following their romantic week-long vacation in historic Rome, Jessica Simpson and John Mayer are back stateside in sunny California.
As the couple left the restaurant, Jessica spontaneously said “I love you” to John as the two parted to ride their separate cars.
John Mayer and Jessica Simpson cut their week-long vacation short, arriving at Fiumicino Airport on Monday afternoon in Rome, Italy.
Jessica Simpson and John Mayer spotted walking hand in hand in Rome, Italy this afternoon where they are on currently vacationing together. The couple arrived at the Leonardo da Vinci Airport this morning and were then driven by van to their hotel in the center of town.
Later on, Mayer and Simpson lingered over a romantic lunch at famed restaurant, Dal Bolognese,” for more than two hours, before doing some sightseeing on foot.
Jessica and Ashlee Simpson’s father Joe is sure his daughters will never end up in rehab like their chart rival Britney Spears. Mother-of-two Spears is currently undergoing treatment at Promises rehab facility in Malibu, California, following months of incessant partying.
While Joe feels sorry for Spears’ predicament, he believes his daughters would never follow the same path as the troubled Toxic star. He says, “I would never let that happen to my daughters. Hopefully, her family will take care of the situation.”
Jessica Simpson was busy hard at work the following day on the set of her upcoming flick, ‘Blonde Ambition.’
According to MTV, Jessica is ready to be taken seriously with her new role.
“I don’t want to sound conceited or brag or anything, but I really did do a good job,” Jess said shortly after filimg. “I am so proud of myself.”
‘Blonde Ambition,’ due this summer, has been described as a remake of the ’80s classic ‘Working Girl,’ which shot Melanie Griffith straight into superstardom.
Jessica Simpson came out to NYC to watch John Mayer, in concert at MSG last night 2/28. The couple later partied at Stereo where the afterparty was held.
John surprised fans at the sold-out show when Alicia Keys joined him on-stage for a surprise duo.
